Tracy Caulkins
National titles and records in every stroke plus the individual medley
Overview
Caulkins won 48 American national titles and set American records in all four strokes plus the IMs, a versatility no swimmer matched. After the 1980 boycott cost her a likely Games appearance, she won the 200 m IM, 400 m IM and a relay at Los Angeles 1984, each in record fashion for the meet.
