Montreal Olympic Pool
1976 aquatic hall beneath the leaning tower of the Olympic Stadium
Overview
The Montreal pool sat at the foot of the stadium tower whose inclined design became one of the most photographed venues of the 1970s. East German women won 11 of 13 events there in 1976. The facility continued serving Canadian aquatic sport for decades afterwards.
