Katie Ledecky

Overview
Ledecky won her first Olympic gold at London 2012 at age 15, then dominated distance freestyle for over a decade. She has held world records in the 400, 800 and 1500 m freestyle and won the inaugural Olympic 1500 at Tokyo 2020. Her winning margins in distance finals, often body lengths over the field, rewrote expectations of womens distance swimming.
