The Water Cube, where 25 world records fell in 2008
Overview
The Water Cube wrapped the 2008 Olympic pool in ETFE bubble cushions that glow at night, and its deep, wide gutters contributed to 25 world records across the meet. After the Games it became a public water park. It was converted to an ice venue for curling at the 2022 Winter Games, earning the nickname Ice Cube.
