Overview
The Sydney aquatic centre in Olympic Park staged Ian Thorpe and Inge de Bruijn heroics at the 2000 Games before crowds around 17,500. It was built ahead of the Games as a public facility and kept its legacy use afterwards. It remains the flagship competition pool of New South Wales.
