Overview
Jones won silver medals at Sydney 2000 aged 14 and became the dominant breaststroker of the following decade, setting world records in the 100 m and 200 m. Her long awaited individual Olympic gold came in the 100 m breaststroke at Beijing 2008, alongside a medley relay gold. She won Olympic medals at four Games and later spoke openly about her mental health struggles.
