Berlin Olympic Swim Stadium
1936 aquatic venue still in public use as a pool
Overview
The Schwimmstadion in the Berlin Reichssportfeld hosted swimming, diving and water polo at the 1936 Games in an outdoor bowl of stone terraces. Unlike many Olympic venues it survived the war and later decades intact and still serves swimmers today. It is one of the oldest working Olympic pools anywhere.
